7. Removal of splinters

Extracting splinters can be a painful and frustrating task, but a banana peel can make it much easier. Place the inside of the peel directly over the splinter and leave it there for about 30 minutes. The natural enzymes and oils in the peel will soften the skin and help push the splinter to the surface, making it easier to extract without discomfort.
