For Mittens the cat, it was a special day—it was her birthday! Her thoughtful owner, Susan, had baked her a special cake using all of Mittens' favorite ingredients: tuna, chicken, and catnip. Mittens was delighted when she saw her cake. She couldn't wait to dig in! As Susan placed the cake on the floor, Mittens immediately began eating. She continued until she was completely satisfied. After finishing the cake, Mittens took a nap, dreaming of all the fun she'd have on her birthday. She imagined playing with toys, chasing her tail, and taking long naps in the sunshine.
